Just north of Chelsea Michigan, there is a peaceful and beautiful spot
on a calm and quiet lake. The view from the cabin is of trees, water,
and natural landscaping. The cabin itself is over a hundred years old.
It was originally built in Northern Michigan. I have been told that a
highway was planned where the cabin sat, so it was sold, disassembled,
numbered, trucked to lower Michigan, and carefully reassemble on a simple
foundation.
Inside, the approximately 500 square feet of space includes a complete
kitchen area, a built in double bed, a woodstove, a full bathroom, and
sitting/dining area. There are rowboats, a pontoon boat,
and kayak available. There are two decks, and a screened gazebo as well
as fruit trees, an expansive willow, and a large garden space.
The cabin is available for cooperative use, to friends and friends of
friends. Contact cabin infoCabin Work List
